My favorites
Fire War II: Treason –– this book had a lot in it. It was the perfect dystopian book. A lot of things that happened in the first book continued into the second. Things that you felt were bedrock quickly shifted.
Cicada Prophecy – I love medical fiction, especially when it’s something dealing with “what could” happen scenarios. This one was a little bit interesting, and I think that the reviews online are very polarized. People either loved it or hated it, I was in the first group.
Highway – A slightly different take on a post-apocalyptic story. This one had me feeling a lot more too. The main characters were kids compared to the rough-and-tumble adults that are the normal protagonists in a story like this.
