A quick and  exceptional read on how to become a better presenter

4.5 out of 5 stars

This book was assigned to me by a professor for my Sales Leadership class, he believes that even if you are a great presenter, you should try to become an exceptional one.  This book shadows that belief.  I would consider myself to be an above average to good presenter, I like talking to people, and have a voice that people describe as “booming”  but I still get nervous and have some speaking bad habits.

This book was a great way to remind myself of these habits and to practice, practice, practice.  There are a lot of good experiments and trials to try at home and in your every day life to realize what kind of presenter you are.  From “do I talk with my hands” to how much do I use filler words — Koegel has an efficient way to explain how to figure these answers out and how to correct or improve on them.

I would recommend this to anyone, but especially if you work in the business field.  He gives a very black and white to the point text on how to become exceptional.  And being exceptional could mean the difference between getting the job and not, or making a bigger paycheck or not.
