Facing an alien threat across not two, but three galaxies, there was only one way to come out on top. Charlie would need a hat-trick of awesome. Good thing he was feeling lucky.

The Urvalin invaders had linked three realms in a bid to join their power and create an intergalactic dominion. And they would have succeeded without incident if not for one crucial mistake. They hadn’t counted on the resourcefulness of Charlie and his friends.

Facing a much larger threat than ever before, disparate magic systems were made to work together, and former enemies found themselves unlikely allies in an all or nothing battle for the freedom of all of their worlds.

It would be bloody, and it would be brutal, but at the end of the day only one faction could prevail. Charlie and his friends were willing to do whatever necessary to ensure their victory, but the question lingered. With Charlie still trapped in a distant galaxy, would that be enough?

We think we understand the laws of physics.

We think a lot of things. It was perhaps inevitable that some of them would turn out to be wrong.

When the great incursion occurred, no one was prepared. Of all the things physicists had predicted, “the fabric of reality might rip open and giant monsters could come pouring through” had not made the list. But somehow, that was precisely what happened.

For sisters Susan and Katharine Black, the day of the incursion was the day they lost everything. Their home, their parents, their sense of normalcy . . . and each other, because when the rift opened, each sister was stranded in a separate form of reality. For Susan, it was science and study and the struggle to solve the mystery of the altered physics inside the zones transformed by the incursion. For Katharine, it was monsters and mayhem and the fight to stay alive in a world unlike the world of her birth.

The world has changed. The laws of physics have changed. The girls have changed. And the one universal truth of all states of changed matter is that nothing can be completely restored to what it was originally, no matter how much you might wish it could be.

Nothing goes back.

Surviving in space was the easy part …

I’m not alone anymore.

I’ve made it down from the solitude of the station, all the way to an incredible underground bunker complex.

Thousands of humanity’s best minds are by my side.

I’m surrounded by secret cutting-edge technologies that almost defy belief.

Too bad none of that is a match for what I’m up against now.

Because in just three days, the final stage of Ignacio Zola’s demented plan to reach a new world will eliminate all life on Earth—unless I can pull off a miracle.

The stakes couldn’t be any higher. The odds couldn’t be any longer.

I’m the man who uncovered Zola’s plan. And now, I’m the only man who can stop him.

This fight started in space and brought me deep below Earth’s surface.

But that’s nothing compared to what comes next …

The only thing Maddy knows for certain is that he died.

I died. And I came here. To a place they call Two. They say one out of three people who die come here. Berlin is here. She’s seven. She forgot to take her insulin. Darrel is here. He drowned. Dr. Raleigh is here. He’s the head counselor at the Two Adjustment Facility (TAF) I’m at. He died in an avalanche. Perry Whitcomb is here. I connected with him on Deadbook, Two’s version of Facebook. He was on my soccer team in middle school. He collapsed during one of our games. And get this, Heath Ledger is here. (Yeah, the Joker, himself.) He just had a new movie come out.

Anyhow, it’s been a lot to handle, this new world, this second life, but I think I’m starting to come around. I was about to take the bar exam, for the third time, the day after I died. They say I can take it here. They say I can become a public defender just like I’d planned on. We’ll see. Sure, I’m starting to adjust, but I still have lots of questions: Why can’t women get pregnant here? Who are this group called “Borns” that no one will talk about? Why do They always seem to know exactly where you are every second of every day? I’m not certain of a lot these days, but I do know one thing for sure: there is a lot more to Two than people are telling.

When the unthinkable happens, Vivian’s regimented world is turned upside-down. Her life is about power, success, and dominance—not a baby!

This single, shocking moment throws boss and assistant together into an intimacy neither could have imagined. With their lives in chaos, every day brings a new challenge bigger than the last. But everything will work out . . . just so long as they don’t do anything totally ridiculous.

A warm, feel-good, enemies-to-lovers, lesbian romance about chasing your dreams—wherever they might lead.

Powerful venture capitalist Claire Pressley is done with stressful New York and has set her sights on a “treechange”—renovating a homestead in Eagle Cove, Oregon, to make a gorgeous guesthouse.

Her plan isn’t quite so simple when it turns out Eagle Cove’s beloved town librarian Ruby Jordan had been saving to buy the homestead herself. Worse, Ruby had some grand, beautiful dream to turn it into an animal shelter.

Claire couldn’t look more like a villain in her new town if she tried. Now she has to find a way to make peace with the locals, as Ruby furiously works out a Plan B for her animal shelter.

But even as the hot-headed women keep clashing, it’s hard not to notice their sizzling chemistry, and how attractive they find each other.

It seems unlikely they’ll even manage to be friends at this rate. And being more than friends . . . that would be just ridiculous! Right?

Contains mature themes.

Keeper 829 by Michael Camarillo

Keeper 829 is Michael Camarillo’s debut novel. This dystopian fiction reshapes the way the world works by mixing historical storytelling with an imaginative (and dark) future. In this cautionary tale, listeners are taken to a world on the brink of collapse where humans are just another experiment in a cosmic vision fueled by genetic engineering. The oppressive organization that provides global harmony is not what it seems. Something inhuman is lurking in the shadows, and once the veil is dropped, listeners will join a race against the extermination clock in a multi-book series.

In 2098, a shadowy organization called The Institution governs a harmonious collective society. The new, faithless world is a veritable Eden.

Or is it?

Nesha Gray looks human but she’s not….

A letter and a stranger thrusts Nesha into a darker reality where humans are a crop for reaping. In a world of betrayal, deception, and genetic engineering, Nesha finds her purpose isn’t what she thought.

Only questions remain….

Who is coming? Are humans worth saving? Who are the real enemies?

Keeper 829 contains themes that may be deemed too mature for certain audiences.
